We are children of Life. We didn’t earn it, we didn’t choose it, yet we are. Here we are, immersed in this mystery. Asking why or how is pointless, these questions have no answers. The real question is: how do we respond to Life?
Life doesn’t ask for explanations; it asks for openness. Being children of Life means learning to remain true to ourselves through its rawness, its beauty, and its depth. It’s not a choice but a reality we must embrace and come to terms with. Every day offers a new chance to grow and become.

Resignation and Resistance: The Masks of Weakness
Life presses upon us, but it doesn’t always call for resistance. Sometimes, it simply asks us to stay present, to flow with it, free of force or judgment. Resistance often hides in subtle, nearly invisible forms, yet each act of resistance harms us:
Resignation: weakness disguised as surrender. Giving up only pulls us deeper into discontent, further from genuine transformation. It’s resistance that doesn’t fight but pretends not to feel.
False gratitude: a hidden resistance masked by “thank you.” The words may sound sincere, but they merely shield the anger simmering within. We say “thank you” while our hearts carry bitterness.
Resentment: irritation disguised as acceptance. When things don’t go our way, our hearts tighten, our minds churn, yet we pretend all is fine.
Forced submission: resistance wrapped in silent compliance, to what might in some way represent a form of authority and/or authoritativeness, where the soul bends but the spirit boils. “I submit, but anger burns inside!”
Conditional prayer: demands cloaked in prayer, born from a heart that says, “Do as I command, nothing else will do.”

Acceptance and Gratitude: The Strength to Embrace Life
But there is another way.
Acceptance: “It is what it is.” Simple, yet transformative. Acceptance isn’t defeat; it’s making peace with reality, free of illusions. While we can’t always change our circumstances, we can choose to embrace them. The calm that comes with acceptance is strength, not weakness. It’s the awareness that life is what it is, and within that “is” lies everything we need to be whole.
Authentic gratitude: not hollow words or forced smiles, but gratitude that flows from the heart, seeing beauty even in pain. It carries joy, hope, and calm. It’s not an obligation but a heartfelt thankfulness that says “thank you” without fear or reservation.
Joyful surrender: acknowledgment of authority and/or authoritativeness, a surrender free from resistance or hatred. It’s not about defeat but about peace, a willingness to submit while remaining true to oneself.
Unconditional prayer: a prayer that asks without demanding, born from a heart free of expectations. It receives what Life offers, unafraid and open.

Trust and Surrender: The Strength of Letting Go
Trusting Life is no small feat. Life makes no promises, it doesn’t guarantee things will go our way. Trust, however, means letting go of control. It’s an act of liberation, of courage. Trusting means releasing the search for definitive answers, giving up the need to dominate, and abandoning the illusion that we can always shape reality to our will.
It’s knowing when acceptance is the most powerful choice. To trust Life is to live with what is, without false promises or illusions. It is to embrace vulnerability.
Perhaps, like me, you’ve been lost in chaos and made the choice to stop controlling everything. To let go. And in that surrender, you found peace. Life doesn’t ask us to fix everything. It asks only that we stay true, to embrace the moment without fearing what’s ahead. Trusting is also a leap into the unknown, a step forward, not knowing what lies ahead, yet trusting Life to find its way.

The Peace in Not Knowing
We don’t know what tomorrow holds. This uncertainty unsettles us, wounds us, and sometimes paralyzes us. Yet within that stillness lies the chance to discover a strength we never knew we had. It’s not a void to fear but a depth to explore, step by step. Every fall reveals something new about us, turning uncertainty into the seed of resilience.
Living isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about learning to live with the questions, to stay in the unknown without fear.
Not knowing isn’t a weakness; it’s a profound strength. It’s recognizing that, despite everything, we can still move forward.
We don’t need all the certainties or answers. We are here, and that is both our destination and our starting point.

Being Present in a World of Possibilities
Life promises nothing. It’s a world of possibilities but also of struggles, pain, and uncertainty. Even so, we can choose how to respond. Each day is a new beginning. Every step we take, every decision we make, is an act of faith, hope, and courage.
We aren’t here to have all the answers. We are here to make choices, to be authentic, to live with what is. Every day is an invitation. We don’t know what lies ahead, but we can still choose despite the unknown.
Meaning doesn’t lie in certainty but in the courage to move forward, even when everything around us crumbles. It’s the act of continuing – despite uncertainty – that makes us truly alive.
