Who can truly measure who you are? Not other people. Something greater, invisible, and incomprehensible, could grasp the entirety of your being. But your value is not reflected in others’ judgments. You, and only you, are the measure of yourself. In moments of light and darkness, remember: the wonder of life does not ask to be measured. It cannot be confined by standards or expectations.

Wonder is that suspension of time that reveals the world in its essence. It is awe, marvel, connection. You cannot control it, nor anticipate it; you can only let it pass through you. That is enough: embrace wonder as a gift. Not explained, not defined, but lived.

The Unique Rhythm of Life

Every person has their own rhythm, their own way of moving through existence. Some paths belong to you, others do not, and that is perfectly fine. But we often try to shape others according to our expectations, hoping they will conform to what we desire. When this hope fails, disappointment does not come from the other person, but from our own unmet demands.

Etty Hillesum reminds us, “Disappointment is within us, not in the other.” Accepting this truth frees us from the chains of dissatisfaction. Allowing others to be who they are is an act of genuine liberation, a way to live with greater lightness and authenticity.

Courage and Love in Facing Life

Facing life with courage and love is one of the greatest challenges. When you succeed, it is extraordinary. When you fail, and you will, try again. It is not failure that defines who you are, but the fact that you keep trying. Every fall is an invitation to rise again. Every attempt is a sign that you are still here, still choosing to live.

Perspectives and Connections

Beliefs can become walls. They protect, but they also exclude. And sometimes, the perspectives of others seem so strong that they overshadow your own. But the world is not made of singular truths: it is a tapestry of perspectives, currents, orientations. Some will merely brush against your path; others will shape it. You can embrace them without abandoning who you are. Recognizing what is different from you does not mean forsaking your own path.

Welcome the many currents of life, spiritual, scientific, cultural. Some will teach you, others will pass unnoticed. But amidst all of this, stay firm in your values and perspectives. Being open does not mean ceasing to be authentic.

The Strength of Fragility

Fragility is not an enemy. It is part of your humanity. When you feel powerless, it is not a sign of failure but a message. Accept it, listen to it. Within fragility lies the seed of growth. It is where you learn, where you discover what makes you unique, where you remember that being alive is a privilege in itself.

Bringing Wonder into the World

Wonder lives in the details. It is not in grand gestures, but in the small things: a smile, a gaze that illuminates, a silence that speaks. You do not have to create it; you only need to recognize it. Every person, in their own way of existing, can bring a fragment of wonder into the world.

This wonder does not need to be recognized or celebrated. Its strength lies in its gratuity, in its ability to exist without conditions. Each grain of wonder contributes to a greater mosaic, a collective design that belongs to no one but welcomes everyone.

Two Energies, One Choice

There are two energies that traverse life: one that consumes, destroys, humiliates, and another that creates, sustains, nurtures. Every day, you choose which energy to follow. Every small gesture toward the energy that creates is a contribution to the beauty of the world. We may not always understand why these forces exist, but within the choice lies our most authentic power.

Your Unique Mosaic

Enough with comparisons that hurt. Stop using others’ successes as tools for self-diminishment. Celebrate, observe, be inspired, but do not let comparison empty your spirit. Your life is unique, unrepeatable. Every mistake, every success, every attempt is a piece of the mosaic you build every day.
It does not have to be perfect. It only has to be yours.
